Case studyA US IT services company: +67% organic traffic
Organic traffic grew 67% and ranking keywords grew 139% over three years, by fixing and refreshing the pages the company already had before writing new ones.
The client
A global IT services company headquartered in the US, selling cloud, cybersecurity and IT consulting to mid-sized and enterprise buyers. Name withheld for confidentiality.
The problem
A large site with many service pages, most of them ranking outside Google's first page. New content kept being added while older pages were left as they were.
What we did
- Audited every service page and grouped them by the buyer question they answer
- Rewrote page openings to answer the search in the first two lines
- Added FAQ blocks from real buyer questions, with FAQ and Organization schema
- Fixed internal links so related pages pass authority to each other
- Set up weekly Search Console reporting to measure every change
Results
Refreshed pages improved more than twice as fast as the pages left alone, which is why every engagement starts with the pages you already have.
